about the piece

the original piece was an acrylic painting done on a 16 x 20 inch stretched canvas. this piece was inspired by sunny's love for botany and mycology. she spent much of her childhood playing outdoors in nature and feels most at home when surrounded by plants. she is a believer and enthusiast of certain types of alternative plant medicine found in the therapeutic effects of cannabis and psilocybin. her fascination with plants and fungi continues to grow as she explores her relationship with plant medicine in her daily routine.
